Maxime Bernier Just Called Trudeau A 'Fascist Psychopath' For Dragging Anti-Vaxxers

People's Party of Canada (PPC) leader Maxime Bernier has called out Justin Trudeau for his comments about anti-vaxxers and he's not holding back.

On September 1, Bernier tweeted a video of the prime minister at a campaign stop in Ontario a day earlier. In the clip, Trudeau can be heard referring to those who refuse to get vaccinated as "those people."

The Liberal leader was responding to a number of demonstrators who had showed up to protest COVID-19 vaccines and vaccine mandates in Canada.

"The folks out there shouting — the anti-vaxxers — they're wrong." Trudeau said. "They are putting at risk their own kids, and they're putting our kids at risk as well."

A little later he added, "Those people are putting us all at risk."

In response, Bernier wrote, "Stop talking about "those people" as subhumans that must be excluded from society, you fascist psychopath."

A day later, he tweeted, "If the Liberals really want to combat hate speech, the first thing they should do is get rid of their leader."

Some of the PPC's main election promises include repealing vaccine passports and vaccine mandates.
