Midnight Shaft
- 30 ml (1 oz.) Chic Choc Black Spiced Rum
- 30 ml (1 oz.) espresso
- 15 ml (½ oz.) 15% cream
- 15 ml (½ oz.) coffee liqueur
- Coffee beans
Combine all liquid ingredients in a shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously. Pour or strain the contents of the shaker into a small glass. Garnish with coffee beans and serve with a straw.
Chic Choc Spiced Rum Pumpkin Punch
12 to 15 servings
Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- 85 ml (⅓ cup) water
- 85 ml (⅓ cup) honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1-inch fresh ginger, sliced
- 125 ml (½ cup) pumpkin puree
- 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract
- 1 medium-sized pumpkin
- 500 ml (2 cups) Chic Choc Spiced Rum
- 190 ml (¾ cup) orange juice
- 190 ml (¾ cup) lemon juice
- 3 to 4 drops of Angostura bitters
- 2 L (8 cups) root beer
- Sliced orange
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- Ice cubes
Pumpkin Spice Syrup
In a medium-sized saucepan, bring water, honey, cinnamon, and ginger to a boil and let it boil on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Then, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the pumpkin puree and vanilla. Strain the mixture into a glass jar, let it cool, then cover and place in the refrigerator.
Punch
Empty your pumpkin to turn it into an original punch bowl. Then, pour in the pumpkin syrup, Chic Choc Spiced Rum, orange and lemon juices, and the Angostura bitters. Top up with 1L of root beer (or more to taste), add ice cubes, some orange slices, and cinnamon sticks. Once everything is ready, serve this refreshing cocktail in glasses filled with ice cubes.
Chic Choc Bloody Pitcher
4 servings
- 180 ml (6 oz) Chic Choc Spiced Rum
- 16 drops of Worcestershire sauce
- 16 drops of Tabasco sauce
- 30 ml (1 oz) lime juice
- 360 ml (12 oz) Clamato juice
- 1 bunch of fresh cilantro
- ½ cucumber, quartered
Pour the rum, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, and lime juice into a pitcher. Add ice cubes and Clamato juice. Gently stir using a spoon. To add a special touch to your pitcher, garnish it with a bunch of cilantro and cucumber quarters.
Before serving, mix equal parts steak seasoning and celery salt. Moisten the rim of highball glasses with lime juice, then frost them with this spice blend. For the final touch, adorn each glass with a cucumber slice.
