LCBO: Locations are closed on New Year's Day.
The Beer Store: Closed.
Wine Rack: Wine Rack locations in the Toronto area are open on New Year's Day.
Only some stores in other parts of the province are open on January 1, 2024.

Transit
TTC: Sunday service is operated on New Year's Day. That means TTC routes are running based on their Sunday schedules even though January 1 is a Monday.
Also, the subway service starts around 8 a.m. on New Year's Day and runs every four to five minutes.
GO Transit: GO Transit is on a Saturday schedule for New Year's Day. So, trains are running according to the Saturday schedule for each route.

Banks: Banks are closed on New Year's Day.
