The 53rd Annual JUNO Awards got underway on Sunday with some of Canada's biggest musicians walking the red carpet in Halifax.
From host Nelly Furtado to Canadian rappers Kardinal Offishall and Maestro Fresh Wes, there was a lot of Canadian talent at the Halifax Convention Centre.
Here are the Canadian celebrities who showed up for Canada's biggest night in music.
Nelly Furtado
"I'm Like a Bird" singer Nelly Furtado arrived on the red carpet in a stunning sparkling gown.
Furtado is hosting the awards ceremony and will also be opening the ceremony with a performance.

Montreal singer Rêve wore a white and silver dress on the red carpet.
Elliot Page
Canadian actor and Halifax native Elliot Page walked the red carpet and posed for photos.
Page will present musical duo Tegan and Sara with the 2024 Humanitarian Award on Sunday.

The Canadian musicians will be honoured at the JUNOS with the 2024 Humanitarian Award for their work as advocates for the LGBTQ+ community.
Maestro Fresh Wes
Canadian rapper and hip-hop pioneer Maestro Fresh Wes will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame with a special presentation and performance at the JUNOS.

Canadian singer-songwriter Nicholas Durocher, known professionally as Talk, arrived in a white cape and antlers at the JUNO Awards.
The Ottawa musician will be performing at the event. He also has five JUNO nominations.
