Something beautiful is blossoming in Toronto! You can celebrate spring by taking a trip along this enchanting floral trail that's opening soon in the city.
This floral celebration is taking place from May 8 to 12, 2024, featuring five days of flower-filled fun just in time for Mother's Day.
You can wander along a trail filled with over 30 blossoming pop-ups as well as enjoy attractions like a flower market and floral high tea.
The best part is, the trail is completely free to explore.
Here's what to know about this sweet-smelling event coming to Toronto.
Fleurs de Villes is returning to the city for its 100th show, Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE, this May. The flower-filled event features a self-guided tour through the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood filled with 35 fresh floral installations.
You can see dreamy flower displays all themed around artistic expression through history. Installations include an Andy Warhol-inspired Cambell's Soup Entranceway, "Irises" by van Gogh, a painter's palette, Monet's "Women in a Garden", and more.
The W Hotel is hosting several activities throughout the event, such as floral-inspired High-Beau Tea, a flower power workshop, a floral chocolate paint and wine and floral-inspired St. Germain cocktails.
Other highlights include a fresh flower market at the Village of Yorkville Park & Manulife Centre on Saturday, May 11 from 11a.m. to 6 p.m. as well as street performances from local musicians.
