☀️ WEATHER
Spring has sprung and the weather is heating up!
The weather in Toronto this week is expected to be pretty warm most days with temperatures between 14 C and 22 C
If you're hoping to spend time outdoors throughout the week, most days should be sunny with just a few clouds.
There is a chance of showers later in the week so be sure to keep an eye on the forecast before heading out to see if you'll need an umbrella or a raincoat.
🍽️ FOOD AND DRINK
Mother's Day is on Sunday, May 12 this year so if you want to treat yourself, your mom or someone who has been like a mother to you, what about brunch?
These are a few Toronto restaurants you can go to for brunch on Sunday — all of which were named the best brunch spots in the city by OpenTable.

Also, Holts Café Bloor is having a special Mother's Day afternoon tea every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday until June 2.
If you don't want to make lunch or dinner this week, you can dine out at all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants in Toronto.
Some of the best spots include KaKa All You Can Eat, August 8, Sushi Legend and Kung Fu Sushi.

🎥 ENTERTAINMENT
Netflix's Ginny & Georgia has officially started filming season three and that means the cast and crew are back in Toronto.
The show films in Toronto so you can spot locations you see in the show around the city, including the exterior of the mother-daughter duo's home in the Baby Point neighbourhood.
"I love shooting in Baby Point, I think it's so beautiful and residential and cute and all of the houses are so sweet," Brianne Howey, who plays Georgia Miller, told Narcity in 2022.
Even if you don't see the cast filming in the city, you could run into the cast around Toronto.
Howey also told Narcity that she dines out at Paris Paris on Ossington and Burdock Brewery on Bloor when shooting the show.
✅ THINGS TO DO
Step into spring this week with a floral trail with high tea and a flower market that's coming to Toronto's Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood from May 8 to May 12.

🤑 MONEY
The Ontario Trillium Benefit — a combined payment of the Ontario energy and property tax credit, the Northern Ontario energy credit, and the Ontario sales tax credit — is paying out this week.
You can expect to receive a payment, if you're eligible for this benefit, on Friday, May 10.
If you're working a government of Canada student job in the city, you'll be making more money.
That's because pay rates for government of Canada jobs for students were increased on May 1. Some workers could get almost $4 more per hour now!
Want to save money while dining out in the city? Popular Toronto ramen chain KINTON RAMEN has reduced prices on ramen bowls at all locations.
"Amid economic challenges, we're dedicated to bringing you a 'bowl of happiness' at friendlier prices," the restaurant said in an Instagram post.
🏒 SPORTS
Here's what you need to know about Toronto sports teams this week.
HOCKEY
After forcing game six and game seven against the Boston Bruins in the first round of the NHL Playoffs, the Toronto Maple Leafs couldn't come up with the win.
So, the postseason is over for the Leafs and you'll have to wait until next season to see the team play again in Toronto.
BASEBALL
The Toronto Blue Jays are away from the city for games versus the Philadelphia Phillies on Tuesday and Wednesday.
So, if you want to watch the game in Toronto, you'll have to find a sports bar.
But you can head to the ballpark over the weekend because the Blue Jays are back in town to face the Minnesota Twins on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
SOCCER
Toronto FC is playing at home on Saturday so you can get tickets to the game and watch the Reds face New York City FC.
Kick-off at BMO Field is at 7:30 p.m. on May 11.
