This Ontario spot might just be one of the most beautiful places to see the fall colours in the province. The massive suspension bridges takes you over a stunning forest of red and gold.
Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is a majestic leaf-peeping destination near Collingwood, about 2 hours from Toronto. The attraction is home to the longest suspension footbridge in Southern Ontario where you can take in 360 degree views of fall magic.
The 420-foot bridge sits 82 feet above the forest floor and "provides the illusion of floating among the old growth forest," according to the website.
During the fall months, the forest transforms with brilliant hues of red and orange, adding to the beauty of the scene.
You can gaze over a tapestry of colours and enjoy views of shining Georgian Bay in the distance.
The suspension bridge can be reached by following the trails through the park. It takes about 45 minutes to travel to the bridge and back.
There are lots of other activities to experience at Scenic Caves Nature Adventures. You can explore some of the other forest trails, wander through caverns, enjoy a picnic and more.
If you're looking for a beautiful fall experience, it might be worth taking a road trip to this spot.
