The Health Canada salary for this job is $101,726 to $119,945 a year.
Nurses are eligible to receive an annual education allowance — from $605 to $3,850 — depending on their education level.
You must have a degree from a post-secondary institution with a specialization in nursing, nursing administration, nursing education or another relevant specialty.
Or you can get hired with a certificate or diploma in occupational health nursing from a post-secondary institution.
Also, you need to be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse in a province or territory of Canada.
Experience coordinating the delivery of clinical services and providing advice and recommendations on complex health issues is required.
If you get the job, you must:
- have a current registration in good standing as a registered nurse in the province of work
- have and maintain a valid driver's license
- be able to travel
- be able to wear personal protective equipment
- be able to manually lift and carry equipment weighing up to 44 pounds
- be able to deliver services to clients in person
