The Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is looking for people to work as communications analysts.
With these high-paying jobs, you can make up to $120,000 a year if you know a foreign language.
Canada's national intelligence and security agency has Foreign Language Communications Analyst openings in Toronto and Montreal.
Analysts must be able to translate one or more foreign languages into English or French and assess and identify communications to provide advice to management.
These CSIS jobs offer a salary from $99,392 to $120,917 a year.
CSIS is looking to hire people who are proficient in any of these languages:
- Arabic
- Mandarin
- Russian
- Punjabi
- Urdu
- Hindi
- Spanish
To apply for this job, you must be a Canadian citizen.
You need an undergraduate degree from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada.
It's required that you have experience in research, analysis and report writing, working in a team environment, using computer applications, tools and social media apps, and using computer systems.
Experience in interpretation or translation is an asset, but not required.
You must be eligible to receive an Enhanced Top Secret security clearance.
That process includes a security interview, a polygraph, and a background investigation with credit and financial verifications.
You will also be required to successfully complete the Foreign Language Communications Analyst Training Course in Ottawa before you can start working.
