
A Toronto man has been accused of breaking into an apartment and installing a hidden camera inside a smoke detector.
In a press release issued this morning, Toronto police announced they arrested a man believed to be responsible for breaking into and entering a midtown apartment in the Holly Street and Eglinton Avenue West area on Wednesday, August 25.
It is alleged that the man was a building superintendent and that he had entered a tenant's unit without consent and placed a hidden camera inside their smoke detector.
Police charged 37-year-old Vincent Abbott with breaking and entering and voyeurism. Abbott appeared at College Park Court on Thursday.
Toronto police also believe there could be other victims.
