'Loblaws Math' Is Being Called Out & The Math Isn't Math-ing For These Prices (PHOTOS)

A few photos of Loblaws seeming to get their numbers wrong are making the rounds online.

On the Reddit forum r/loblawsisoutofcontrol, a user posted a picture of sports drinks along with the caption, "Loblaws math," and, well, it doesn't quite add up.

The photo shows that you can buy two BodyArmor drinks for $5, while a single drink will cost you $2.47.

What that means is that two of the drinks should only cost $4.94, so it appears there's an issue with Loblaws' math — and it doesn't appear to be an isolated issue based on other photos uploaded online.

"Seen at Superstore Coquitlam yesterday," said another post in the same group. Superstore is a grocery store under the Loblaw banner. "The yellow tag usually indicates a deal of some sort. Is....is this supposed to be a deal...? 2 for $16 or $6 each."

Another shopper at a Superstore in Vancouver posted the same confusing "deal" for ravioli.

And at Zehrs, which is also under the Loblaw banner of stores, one eagle-eyed user spotted another "deal" on avocados where you can get two of the fruit for $5.00 or one for $2.49.

"The math isn't mathing," one person wrote under the post about avocado prices.

Keep your eyes peeled, folks!
