An Ontario Amber Alert has been cancelled after missing 3-year-old Gracie Deck from Barrie, Ontario was located safely by police.
The child was found safe in Guelph, Ontario and according to a news release, Barrie Police are "enroute to Guelph to pick up the child and will be returning to Barrie where the investigation will continue."
The Amber Alert was issued for the formally missing girl at around 1:45 a.m. earlier Tuesday morning.
The emergency alert said the girl was last seen in Barrie and listed 27-year old David Cave as a suspect.
Police reported in a tweet saying "the Amber Alert issued earlier this morning has been canceled as #BarriePolice have located Gracie Deck safe and sound. Arrangements are being made to have her returned to Barrie and further details will be provided later this morning. Thank you to everyone for your assistance."
Police say more details will be released "as the investigation permits."
